Jeff focuses his practice on business and individual Chapter 7, 11, 12 and 13 bankruptcy, reorganizations, litigation, in-Court and out-of-Court work-outs for debtors, transactions, and creditors’ rights. With focusing his practice primarily in these areas, Jeff has established himself as a frontrunner in his field. Jeff takes special pride in helping family farmers under Chapter 12.
Jeff is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy Law from the American Board of Certification and is a former president of the Commercial and Bankruptcy Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association. Jeff has regularly been named to the list of Indiana Super Lawyers. He has been an author and lecturer at ICLEF and various continuing education seminars and has lectured on a multitude of bankruptcy and insolvency issues.
Jeff is licensed to practice in Indiana and Hawaii. Jeff received his B.A. in English and East Asian Language and Literature from Indiana University in 1995 and a J.D. from Indiana University School of Law in 1998. He also attended the University of Hawaii School of Law and the University of Hong Kong School of Law.
Jeff grew up in Indianapolis and is a graduate of North Central High School. He lives on the north side of Indianapolis with his wife and daughter. He enjoys reading literature and history.

John Allman

John’s practice primarily encompasses representing clients in commercial and consumer bankruptcy, insolvency, and related litigation. John’s practice includes representation of both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial or consumer bankruptcy adversary matters.
John is from Bloomington, Indiana and he attended Bloomington High School North. He received his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Indiana University in 2006 and J.D. and Tax LLM from Thomas Cooley School of Law in 2010 and 2011. He is licensed in Indiana and admitted in the Northern and Southern District Courts.
John is an avid sports fan and in high school he was teammates with former NBA players Jarred Jeffries and Sean May to which they attribute their success – per John. He is currently trying his hand at brewing beer and particularly likes to make India Pale Ales.

Andrew Kight

Andrew Kight represents debtors and creditors in out of court workouts and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, renegotiating and restructuring loans and credit obligations, commercial and bankruptcy litigation, and dispute resolution.
After practicing as an associate and partner at Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP (formerly Sommer Barnard PC), Andy founded and worked at Jacobson Hile Kight LLC from 2017 to 2025 before forming Allman Kight Hester LLC in 2026.
He graduated from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York in 1993, and received his J.D. from Indiana University-Maurer School of Law (Bloomington) in 1997.
Before entering private practice, Andy served in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the U.S. Navy. For several years, Andy has represented one of the nation’s largest automobile floorplan financiers, formulating and coordinating their national bankruptcy practice and representing the company in all aspects of bankruptcy, including protection of secured creditor and claims rights in bankruptcy cases and related adversary proceedings. Andy is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and has been honored by Best Lawyers for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights/Insolvency and Reorganization Law. Andy is admitted to the bars of the State of Indiana, Seventh Circuit, and U.S. Supreme Court.
